We are thrilled to welcome Aaron Foster as a new pastor on our staff team, where he will oversee family ministry, adult ministry, and engagement. In this role, Aaron will guide our family ministry—still led day-to-day by Chelsey, Anthony, and Margaret—while expanding our programs to minister not only to children but also to parents. He will also bring fresh vision to our Sunday experience and develop strategies for congregational growth and engagement.
An ordained ECO pastor, Aaron comes with a wealth of ministry experience. We are excited to have him join us in this pivotal year as we transition into our permanent home. I’m also delighted to share a few other staffing updates:
- Clint Wilson, already serving as one of our pastors, will now focus on spiritual and theological formation. In addition to continuing pastoral care and leadership in areas such as Space City Fellows, City Arts Initiative, and City Groups ministries, Clint will be developing curriculum, content, and programs to engage both current members and those yet to join our community.
- Kai Chen, formerly a pastoral resident, began serving as Congregational Life Director on August 1. In this role, Kai will work alongside Clint to lead our City Group ministry, provide pastoral care, and support our diaconate.
- Chelsey Omoregie continues as City Kids Director and remains on the path toward full ordination as a pastor.
On the heels of our 10-year anniversary, I find myself reflecting on the countless ways God has provided for City Church. Our dedicated staff is at the very top of the list of things for which I am deeply grateful.
