New series Ancient | Future Church starts September 7
Something exciting is happening at City Church. As we prepare to move into our new home early next year, we see this moment as far more than just a change of address–it’s an opportunity to begin again. It’s a chance to reintroduce ourselves to the city we love and to welcome many new people.
That’s why, in the lead up to our move, we’re turning to the New Testament book of Acts. Acts tells the story of the very first generation of the church–ordinary people who encountered something extraordinary: the transforming love of God in Jesus. Out of that experience came a vibrant community marked by joy, generosity, love, and hope.
We believe the path to our future runs through this past. Our new series, Ancient | Future Church, will explore how their story can help us imagine our future together, and what distinctives of the early church still have the power to shape us today.
Whether you’re already part of City Church, looking for a spiritual home, or simply curious about faith, we’d love for you to join us during this uniquely important season. Come along and bring a friend– starting September 7 at 10:30 a.m.
