Prayer for Real Life | Sermon Series

October 12, 2026

by Leo Schuster | Lead Pastor

Prayer is one of the most universal human instincts—and often one of our greatest struggles. Some long to pray but don’t know how. Others feel discouraged because prayer seems difficult, inconsistent, or unanswered. Still others pray faithfully yet quietly wonder whether God truly hears or cares.

On Sunday, October 18, we begin a new three-week series called Prayer for Real Life. Together, we’ll explore how to cultivate a deeper, more meaningful connection with God through prayer, even in the midst of our busy, often distracted lives.

We’ll discover that prayer isn’t a performance reserved for spiritual experts, but a gracious invitation into a relationship with God. Whether prayer feels unfamiliar, confusing, frustrating, or deeply comforting, we can come as we are–with our hopes, struggles, doubts, and desires—and experience what it means to connect with the God who welcomes us and hears us.

I hope you’ll join us for this practical and encouraging series–and consider inviting a friend to come with you.
