As we prepare to move into our new home, we are so excited for the new opportunities to serve kids, students, and families on Sunday mornings. Below you’ll find a brief overview of City Church Family Ministry programming:
WELCOME + CHECK-IN
We invite families who are checking their children into City Kids at either worship hour to enter the building through the City Kids Entrance (the easternmost entrance to Building 1 on 9th Street). From there, nursery-aged children (3 months–3 years) and PreK–Kindergarten children can be checked in and brought straight to their classrooms at both hours.
At the 9:30am service, 1st–5th graders will join their families in the main worship service for about 15 minutes before being dismissed to City Kids. At the 11:00am service (without an in-service kids’ dismissal), all City Kids can be checked in directly to their classrooms.
CITY KIDS
9:30am Service
Infants–3 Years Old
All children ages 3 months through 3 years will receive childcare from our wonderful City Kids team of paid professional caregivers and faithful volunteers for the full worship hour. Drop-off and pick-up both take place at classrooms.
PreK + Kindergarten
Our PreK- and Kindergarten-aged children will receive engaging, classroom-based City Kids programming for the full worship hour. Drop-off and pick-up both take place at classrooms.
1st–5th Grade
After the in-service kids’ dismissal during the 9:30am worship hour, City Kids staff and volunteers will lead 1st–5th grade children to their large-group room for City Kids Gather. This includes corporate worship, biblical teaching, and age-appropriate activities that help kids engage more deeply with the week’s lesson. Pick-up after the 9:30am worship service will take place at each large-group room.

Full-Morning Programming
Adults with children of any age are invited to make use of City Kids programming for the full morning in order to worship, volunteer, attend a City Group, fellowship at the coffee shop, or participate in other on-campus activities. Children can be checked in for both hours at the beginning of the morning, and the City Kids team will ensure a safe transition for all children between services.

CITY YOUTH
Worship Service | 9:30am
Studies have shown that youth who consistently attend the main worship services of their church experience greater longevity in their faith. We encourage our City Youth students (6th–12th grade) to engage in the main service at the 9:30am hour each week.
City Youth Connect | 11:00am
City Youth Connect will take place every week at the 11:00am hour in the Youth Room (upstairs in Building 2). Students will have time to hang out and build relationships with one another, engage in student-led worship, enjoy food, and reflect on and discuss the weekly Bible teaching.
If you are a student who wants to volunteer as a City Kids leader at either worship service, please reach out to Chelsey Omoregie to begin that process.
