This team provides a safe and nurturing environment for our children. There are opportunities to love on babies and toddlers in the nursery, serve our pre-k thru 5th graders during their time in children’s worship, or serve in our special needs ministry. Time commitment: Sundays; arrive at 9:45 AM, finished 15 minutes after the service ends.

Usher Team

This team helps with the service logistics…manage seating availability, collect offerings during the service and assist with the flow of traffic during communion. Time commitment: Sundays; arrive at 9:45 AM.

Welcome | Hospitality Team

This team creates a warm and inviting atmosphere by providing hospitality to all who enter the doors of City Church. Team members will greet people upon entering, hand out worship sheets, answer questions about City Church and meet with people at the Connect center before and after the service. Time commitment: Sundays; arrive at 9:45 AM, finished 15 minutes after the service ends.

Sunday Operations Team

This team supports the weekly setup and breakdown of the worship space, children’s space and other areas used on Sunday morning. It is important that team members be servant-hearted, task oriented and punctual. Time commitment: Sundays; arrive at 8:30 AM, breakdown takes about 45 minutes after the service ends.

Communion Preparation Team

This team makes it possible for our worshipping community to celebrate communion and receive spiritual nourishment each Sunday by preparing the communion tables before the service and cleaning up the communion tables after the service. Time commitment: Sundays; arrive at 9:30 AM, finished 15 minutes after the service ends.

Prayer Team

This team prays personally and corporately for City Church. Prayer requests will be sent to team members as needed via email. On Sundays, four members are assigned to the prayer station. Those people gather to pray for the worship service, church needs and needs of our city before the service begins. Those same four members will also be available at the prayer station during communion and for 10 minutes after the service. Anyone on the Prayer Team is encouraged to come to pray before the service whenever available. Throughout the year, the Prayer Team also gathers upon request to pray for the healing of those with chronic disease or sickness, an upcoming surgery or any other physical or spiritual need. Time commitment: arrive at 9:45 AM; finished 10 minutes after the service ends.
