I am so proud of CIVIC CLUB and our collection of musicians for their creativity and excellent work on our most recent EP, titled after this year’s ministry theme, Love for Life. The first song, “Love is Wilder,” sets the tone for the project. It was inspired by a quote from the Irish poet, Oscar Wilde: “To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist. That is all.” The three other songs on the EP noticeably revolve around the secret to the vitality Wilde wrote about: love. Human connection and relationships built on love are what make life worth living, and Scripture informs us that love originates from God! We can love one another because we have first received gracious love from our Creator. Our hope is that these songs will encourage you and remind you of the worthy pursuit of knowing the love of Christ that surpasses all knowledge.
