COVID-19 SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

Here some current opportunities around Houston to serve those most at risk during this unprecedented time.

 

Agape DevelopmentTransforming our neighborhood by preparing Christ-following, independent, community leaders. They will hold their summer camps for neighborhood children and teens and there are many ways to serve. Restoring Justice—You can further the Restoring Justice mission of providing holistic and loving legal defense and social services to the marginalized in our community, and you can do this without leaving your home. Restoring Justice has had a rapid influx of donors, and they could use volunteers to call new donors and thank them for donating. To get involved email: voluneers@restoringjustice.org 

 

Work Faith Connection—Helping people in transition build a new life through work and faith. If you know anyone, near or far, in job search, please direct them to visit the WFC website to learn more or send them this link to apply for their next 5-day class. Houston Responds—Unite, empower and mobilize churches across Greater Houston to expedite long-term recovery and respond to future disasters. Check out their Masks for All project here where you can donate funds and/or supplies as well as produce masks for greater Houston and in particular under-resourced areas.
