Elders - City Church Leadership Team

Blake Webster

Class of 2022
Blake serves in City Kids and leads a Focus Group. He works in energy private equity. Blake enjoys golf, fishing, coaching kids, and traveling with his family. Blake appreciates the quality of people in Houston and the city’s Tex-Mex. He is married to Jenny, and they have four children: William, Georgia, Mary Sterling, and Audrey.

Chigo Uzoigwe

Class of 2021
Chigo serves on our Usher Team and co-leads the Rice | Med Center City Group, as well as attends a Focus Group. He is an engineer and enjoys traveling, reading, and exercising. He loves that Houston is so business friendly. Chigo is married to Pamela, and they have two children: Abigail and Andrew.

David Steinbach

Class of 2022
David is a chief investment officer and enjoys skiing, mountains, and history. He loves that Houston is such an international city. David is married to Rebecca, and they have three daughters: Sara Kate, Elisabeth, and Caroline.

Ruth Reitmeier

Class of 2021
Ruth serves in City Kids and has coached the City Church staff. She is a leadership coach at the Doerr Institute for New Leaders at Rice University and loves the diversity of people, cultures, and food in Houston. Ruth is married to Tyler, and they have three children: Reagan, Avery Anne, and Reece.

Valerie Tompson

Class of 2022
Valerie is a founding member and the Executive Director of City Church. She enjoys reading, running, and Houston’s restaurants. Valerie is married to Matt, and they have three children: Mary Shannon, Rachel, and Will.

Debra Paxton

Class of 2021
Debra serves on our Prayer Team and leads a Focus Group. She is a global compliance manager and likes to travel and explore other cultures and history. Debra enjoys spending time with friends and family. She loves Houston’s “winter weather” and that the people of the world are her neighbors.

Bonnie Bonem

Class of 2021
Bonnie serves on our Usher Team. She teachers fifth grade math and enjoys reading, sewing, crocheting, and walking. She has a master’s degree from Gordon Conwell seminary and loves the diversity of Houstonians. Bonnie is married to Mike, and they have four adult children and two grandchildren.

Roger Cooner

Class of 2022
Roger is a founding member of City Church. He serves on our Usher Team and is part of the Montrose City Group. He also occasionally hosts City Youth Bible study in his home. He is an architect, and he enjoys Houston’s cultural experiences and traveling. Roger is married to Pam, and they have two children: Caitlin and Nathan.

Erica Dibella

Class of 2022
Erica volunteers in City Kids and hosts/leads the Heights City Group. She is a librarian and English teacher and enjoys reading, cooking, and Crossfit. She loves exploring the great restaurants of Houston. Erica is married to Mark, and they have two children: Emarie and Gavin.

Bryant Lee

Class of 2023
Bryant serves in City Kids and leads a Focus Group. He is a tax attorney and enjoys coaching his kids, running, golf, watching baseball, and road-tripping with his family. He is a native Houstonian who is quite proud of the eclectic mix of people, culture, and culinary traditions that give this city its identity. Bryant is married to Sarah, and they have four children: Bennet, Beth, Phillip, and Steven.

Beth Moll

Class of 2023
Beth serves on the Communion Prep Team. She co-leads the Montrose West City Group and leads a Focus Group. Beth serves on the Bible Study Fellowship Area Team, shepherding eleven women’s BSF classes in the greater Houston area. Beth enjoys cooking and baking. Beth is married to Stephen, and they have three adult children and one grandchild.

Aaron Pyle

Class of 2023
Aaron is a member of the Sunday Ops Team. He is active in the Timbergrove City Group, as well as a weekly Focus Group. He is the CFO of Connectivity Source, a third-party retailer for T-Mobile. Aaron is an avid outdoorsman. He and his wife Kathleen are Houston natives who enjoy spending time with family and friends, preferably over some of the great Tex-Mex our city has to offer.

Tim Park

Class of 2023
Tim serves on the Sunday Ops Team. He is part of the Heights City Group and participates in a Focus Group. Tim is a manager of a self-storage facility and enjoys baking, eating, and playing and watching soccer. Tim is married to Ann.

Aaron Mohammed

Class of 2023
Aaron serves as a captain of the Prayer Team. He is part of the Heights and Timbergrove City Groups, and he co-leads a Focus Group. Aaron is a subsea engineer in the oil and gas industry. In his free time, he enjoys recreational shooting, hunting, fishing, and cycling. Aaron is currently pursuing a master’s in theology from Dallas Seminary

Regan Huey

Class of 2022
Regan works in marketing and loves the people of Houston, exercising, trying new restaurants, and going to sporting events. Regan is married to Ryan, and they have one son: Camden.

Judy Hess

Class of 2021
Judy serves in City Kids and attends the Timbergrove City Group. She is an epidemiologist at Shell and loves the caring, resilient people of Houston and the city’s restaurants. She enjoys reading, photography, and swimming. Judy is married to Keith, and they have five kids (three adult daughters and two teenage sons.)

Johnny Fusilier

Class of 2022
Johnny serves on our Welcome Team. He is the after-school program coordinator for Pasadena ISD and loves reading, the Houston Cougars, and spending time with family. Johnny is married to Paola, and they have five children: Bella, Abby, Josiah, Judah, and Micah.

Cassy Anselme

Class of 2023
Cassy serves in City Kids and on the Welcome Team, and co-leads a Focus Group. She is currently a PhD candidate at Texas A&M College of Medicine doing breast cancer research. When not in the lab, Cassy enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, walking in the park, and exploring Houston’s diverse food scene.

Tochi Amadi

Class of 2021
Tochi serves on the Welcome and Media Teams and attends the Montrose City Group. She is a project manager in the public health management industry. Tochi loves the people in Houston and enjoys learning new things.
